Crisp pink lady apples, white peach and grapefruit zet. As it warms in the glass, hints of honey and peach flesh shine through. Pinot Grigio and Pinot Gris are the same grape variety. Pinot Grigio is Italian, Pinot Gris is French. "Grigio' and "Gris" both mean grey, which is the hue present in the colour of the grapes. Winemakers in Australia describe Gris as a late picked, more complex wine with crisp acidity.

Critics Review: Award winning Coonawarra Shiraz Our The Big Guns, Coonawarra Shiraz 2012 vintage was awarded: • 96 points by James Halliday "The 1.2ha vineyard produced 5 tonnes (100 dozen bottles); matured for 24 months in French hogsheads. A seriously good shiraz, wielding its power through persuasion, not brute force; high quality French oak is certainly obvious, but the waves of black fruits and ripe tannins carry the oak - or vice versa. Extended cellaring will be handsomely repaid." • Gold at the Melbourne International Wine Competition.

No expense has been spared to make the best wine possible: these grapes were grown with only organic additions in the vineyard (for the past ten years), and minimal intervention, with only 4 organic sprays for the season. “Low yields across an organic certified vineyard, have resulted in a deep concentration of fruit, balanced and the choice of well coopered French oak (18 months), detail, a fleck of cedar and focus. The fruit, ferrous and free-flowing, serves as a beam of blackcurrant, blueberry, graphite, olive and a potpourri of herb and leaf across the finish. The tannins are shapely and moreish; svelte for cabernet, and daubed in sage. The oak rises across the finish auguring for a long future ahead, yet there is nothing obtuse. We believe this is exceptional Coonawarra.” Low sulphur - Organically grown - Vegan friendly - No residual sugar
