Emily May Rosé, Limestone Coast 2019
♥ Vegan Friendly
♥ Low in sulphur
♥ Dry wine

Koonara is the name of our property in Coonawarra which has been in our family for over 100 years, and where my Gran – Emiline May Reschke – lived until she was 99.

Accomplished dressmaker and designer, teacher, bridge and scrabble guru, and professional floral artist.

Here’s to you Gran.

“Oh, spectacular sangiovese. The Italian red variety was treated with the love and respect it deserves in this demure rosé. It’s an alluring pale pink, pretty, poised, playful, and complex – like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Delicate waves of strawberries and cream, cherry and raspberries dance around a sturdy, dry backbone. The wine is named after Dru Reschke’s gran, Emiline May Reschke – a fitting tip of the hat to a woman who lived until the ripe old age of 99.” Katie Spain.

Trophy for ‘Norlift Best Rosé in Show’ at the Cairns Wine Show 2019
95 Points, 95 points, Nick Butler, The Real Review, 2019
5 stars, Katie Spain, Wine Writer, The Adelaide Advertiser, 2019

Angel’s Peak, Coonawarra Shiraz 2016
♥ Organically grown
♥ Vegan Friendly
♥ Low in sulphur
♥ Dry wine
♥ No residual sugar

The name ‘Angels Peak’ is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the lack of ‘peaks’ in the very flat Coonawarra.

No residual sugar, below organic levels of sulphur, 18 month in 100% French Oak Barrels (20% new). This wine has seamless mint dark chocolate and coffee notes, over silky mulberries and molasses.

Lift this bottle to the light and try to see through the neck. The density of colour shows the quality of the grapes that went into this wine. Since flavour and deep colour in Shiraz comes from the skin, we grow our grapes smaller, about the size of a pea.

Food match: Char-grilled eye fillet with wasabi and mascarpone soft cheese.

5 star and Equal Top In Category, Winestate Magazine 2018
Double Gold – 13th G100 International Wine and Spirits Awards 2019

Wanderlust, Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
♥ Organically grown
♥ Vegan Friendly
♥ Low in sulphur
♥ Dry wine
♥ No residual sugar

We love the people who make the journey to come and visit our cellar door in Coonawarra; they have Wanderlust. They are the daring explorer, the lover of life with tales of adventures and experiences from their many trips. This wine’s for you, intrepid travellers…

Decanting this wine for an hour will allow you to see the true depth of flavour, but also show you that this wine is almost unique at this price – in that it will get better over 10 years.

No residual sugar, below organic levels of sulphur, and organically grown. The dense fruit and the soft tannins with allow this wine to age well until 2030.

“Inky in colour pungent fruit aromas with a hint of cigar box cedar adding to the complexity, a big palate with lashings of tight restrained flavours, which will burst forth in due time, and it has a lovely, lingering tight finish. To really enjoy it now, please decant it, or have some patience as in time this will become a REALLY SUPERB WINE!!” Dan Traucki, wine writer
