Meet the Team

Our People: Dru at the Mount Gambier Gold Cup

Dru Reschke

Top Dog, and Chief Coffee Maker

In my 20’s I helped dad set up and manage our family vineyards, whilst studying a Bachelor of Business and Property. In 2000, I was awarded the Geoffrey Roberts Award for innovations in the wine industry.

I am super passionate about trying to find and implement ways to leave the planet better than we found it.

Without a doubt, the luckiest guy ever, as my passion became my business. I’ll get a real job soon. Unlikely though.

Our People: Nicole at the Mount Gambier Gold Cup

Nicole Reschke

Managing Director

Nicole steers the Koonara ship. She loves working with our people to make magic happen, whether it is with new-release wines, events, or sourcing homewares for our cellar door.

She likes to keep the family busy in her spare time, whether catching up with friends, making memories through experiences or travel, ferrying the girls around, and chilling out with a book and a glass of wine.

Our People: Buster the Wonder Dog

Buster The Wonder Dog

Official Welcoming Committee

Buster was our little Jack Russell/Fox Terrier dog, eagerly greeted visitors as they entered our Cellar Door.

Buster was famous. You may have seen him in an edition of ‘Wine Dogs’, and he starred in The Big Beg advert to raise money for the RSPCA. You will see him right at the end, 58 seconds in. He is very cute. Buster lived a wonderful 21 years and we have many great memories of him.
